從箴言看 “愛” 賴瑞珍牧師 10-21-2020
前言
弟兄姊妹, 我們今天來談 “愛”(Love)。在教會中, 我們常常聽到這個字, 包括愛神, 愛人, 愛教會, 愛家庭, 等等。
“愛” (Love, Loves, Loved), 這個字在聖經當中總共出現了 721次。在這 721 次當中, 舊約出現了 408 次, 而新約出現了 313 次。在舊約的 319 次當中, 有 37 次出現在箴言。
弟兄姊妹, “愛”可以是一個動詞, 表示很 “喜愛”某人 或某事, 譬如愛神, 愛人。這是一種用法。在另一方面, 愛也可以是一個名詞, 表示 “愛的本質”。
今天我們來用箴言書當中的經文來學習, 希望我們能夠愛神, 愛人, 更多。
弟兄姊妹, 在下列箴言經文中, 在英文版 NIV 當中, 每一句都有 “Love”這個字出現。但是在中文和合本的翻譯當中, 不一定有 “愛”這個字出現, 它以其它名詞或形容詞代替。請弟兄姊妹注意。

1. 愛 (動詞) (Love, Loves, Loved)
(1). 神所愛的
3:12 因為耶和華 “所愛的”, 他必責備, 正如父親責備所喜愛的兒子。
3:12 because the LORD disciplines those he loves, as a father the son he delights in.
4:6 不可離棄智慧, 智慧就護衛你。要 “愛”他, 他就保守你。
4:6 Do not forsake wisdom, and she will protect you; love her, and she will watch over you.
8:17 “愛”我的, 我也 “愛”他。懇切尋求我的, 必尋得見。
8:17 I love those who love me, and those who seek me find me.
8:21 使 “愛”我的承受貨財, 並充滿他們的府庫。
8:21 bestowing wealth on those who love me and making their treasuries full.
8:36 得罪我的, 卻害了自己的性命。恨惡我的, 都 “喜愛”死亡。
8:36 But whoever fails to find me harms himself; all who hate me love death."
9:8 不要責備褻慢人, 恐怕他恨你。要責備智慧人, 他必 “愛”你。
9:8 Do not rebuke a mocker or he will hate you; rebuke a wise man and he will love you.
12:1 “喜愛”管教的, 就是 “喜愛”知識。恨惡責備的, 卻是畜類。
12:1 Whoever loves discipline loves knowledge, but he who hates correction is stupid.
15:9 惡人的道路, 為耶和華所憎惡。追求公義的, 為他所 “喜愛”。
15:9 The LORD detests the way of the wicked but he loves those who pursue righteousness.
18:21 生死在舌頭的權下, “喜愛”他的, 必喫他所結的果子。
18:21 The tongue has the power of life and death, and those who love it will eat its fruit.
19:8 得著智慧的, “愛惜”生命。保守聰明的, 必得好處。
19:8 He who gets wisdom loves his own soul; he who cherishes understanding prospers.
20:13 不要 “貪”睡, 免致貧窮。眼要睜開, 你就喫飽。
20:13 Do not love sleep or you will grow poor; stay awake and you will have food to spare.
22:11 “喜愛”清心的人, 因他嘴上的恩言, 王必與他為友。
22:11 He who loves a pure heart and whose speech is gracious will have the king for his friend.
小結
弟兄姊妹, 上列 12 節經文是神在箴言書中所說的話。這些都是耶和華所愛的。希望我們能仔細思考, 常常存在心中。
(2). 人所愛的
1:22 說, 你們愚昧人 “喜愛”愚昧, 褻慢人喜歡褻慢, 愚頑人恨惡知識, 要到幾時呢？
1:22 "How long will you simple ones love your simple ways? How long will mockers delight in mockery and fools hate knowledge?
5:19 他如可愛的麀鹿, 可喜的母鹿。願他的胸懷, 使你時時知足。他的 “愛情”, 使你常常戀慕。
5:19 A loving doe, a graceful deer--may her breasts satisfy you always, may you ever be captivated by her love.
7:18 你來, 我們可以飽享 “愛情”, 直到早晨。我們可以彼此親愛歡樂。
7:18 Come, let's drink deep of love till morning; let's enjoy ourselves with love!
13:24 不忍用杖打兒子的, 是恨惡他。 “疼愛”兒子的, 隨時管教。
13:24 He who spares the rod hates his son, but he who loves him is careful to discipline him.
17:19 “喜愛”爭競的, 是 “喜愛”過犯。高立家門的, 乃自取敗壞。
17:19 He who loves a quarrel loves sin; he who builds a high gate invites destruction.
21:17 “愛”宴樂的, 必致窮乏。好酒 “愛”膏油的, 必不富足。
21:17 He who loves pleasure will become poor; whoever loves wine and oil will never be rich.
29:3 “愛慕”智慧的, 使父親喜樂。與妓女結交的, 卻浪費錢財。
29:3 A man who loves wisdom brings joy to his father, but a companion of prostitutes squanders his wealth.
小結
弟兄姊妹, 上列 7 節經文是神在箴言書中所說的, 天然人所愛的事。這些都不是耶和華所愛的。希望我們能仔細思考, 常常存在心中。

3:3 不可使 “慈愛”誠實離開你。要繫在你頸項上, 刻在你心版上。
3:3 Let love and faithfulness never leave you; bind them around your neck, write them on the tablet of your heart.
10:12 恨, 能挑啟爭端。 “愛”, 能遮掩一切過錯。
10:12 Hatred stirs up dissension, but love covers over all wrongs.
14:22 謀惡的豈非走入迷途麼？謀善的必得 “慈愛”和誠實。
14:22 Do not those who plot evil go astray? But those who plan what is good find love and faithfulness.
15:17 喫素菜, 彼此 “相愛”, 強如喫肥牛, 彼此相恨。
15:17 Better a meal of vegetables where there is love than a fattened calf with hatred.
16:6 因 “憐憫”誠實, 罪孽得贖。敬畏耶和華的, 遠離惡事。
16:6 Through love and faithfulness sin is atoned for; through the fear of the LORD a man avoids evil.
17:9 遮掩人過的, 尋求 “愛”。屢次挑錯的, 離間密友。
17:9 He who covers over an offense promotes love, but whoever repeats the matter separates close friends.
17:17 朋友乃時常 “親愛”。弟兄為患難而生。
17:17 A friend loves at all times, and a brother is born for adversity.
19:22 施行仁慈的, 令人 “愛慕”。窮人強如說謊言的。
19:22 What a man desires is unfailing love; better to be poor than a liar.
20:6 人多述說自己的 “仁慈”, 但忠信人誰能遇著呢？
20:6 Many a man claims to have unfailing love, but a faithful man who can find?
20:28 王因 “仁慈”和誠實, 得以保全他的國位, 也因 “仁慈”立穩。
20:28 Love and faithfulness keep a king safe; through love his throne is made secure.
21:21 追求公義 “仁慈”的, 就尋得生命, 公義, 和尊榮。
21:21 He who pursues righteousness and love finds life, prosperity and honor.
27:5 當面的責備, 強如背地的 “愛情”。
27:5 Better is open rebuke than hidden love.
小結
弟兄姊妹, 我們看到當 “愛”當作 “名詞”來用時, 它的意義更廣。也就是說, 它們是耶和華做事的法則。舉兩個例子。
(1). (10:12),“恨”, 能挑啟爭端。 “愛”, 能遮掩一切過錯。
(2). (15:17), 喫素菜, 彼此“相愛”, 強如喫肥牛, 彼此相恨。
上列 12 節經文是神在箴言書中所說的話。這些都是耶和華做事的法則。希望我們能仔細思考, 在生活上應用出來。

弟兄姊妹, 我們想借著結語, 跟大家分享寫作今天本文的動機。
我們想花一些時間, 將箴言中的一些 “鑰字”(Key word) 收集起來, 思考, 分類。目的只是幫助弟兄姊妹, 在研讀箴言時, 有一些重點, 可節省一些時間。我們的重點並不是在解釋經文。
